Jr Boogaloo was born in Samoa in 1967 and moved to USA in 1968. He grew up in the Bay area where he was inspired by Roboting, Strutting and Locking. 

Later he moved to LA where he was introduced to the Electric Boogaloos. He has learnt alongside a whole library of original poppers and Street Dancers from all over LA, Fresno, Oakland and the Bay area.

Jr Boogaloo is renowned for his extensive knowledge in a variety of Street Dance styles including, Popping, Waving, Boogaloo and Tutting. Not only this but he is an excellent teacher. Being able to break down these styles is a real challenge but Jr Boogaloo makes sure his concepts, while technical and exciting, are very much accessible. 

Jr Boogaloo is one of the most well-known poppers in the world. He is consistently on everyone's top ten list of poppers, old and new. 

Dancing for nearly his entire life, he travels the world sharing his love of dancing - teaching, judging events, and even entering contests. His recent wins at top events proves time and again that old school poppers can still hold their own against the new school. 

His mainstream credits include videos for the Boo-Yaa Tribe, and opening up for the The Black Eyed Peas. He has taught and judged contests in Korea, Russia, Japan, USA, Switzerland, France and countless other countries.
